Window Care Systems

Window Care Systems

Window Care Systems is a Dutch company that has revolutionised methods in treating rotten and damaged wood. Their system has successfully solved the age-old problem of curing and preventing the decay of timber. Unlike traditional methods of heavily coating wood surfaces, Window Care’s Prior-to-Paint method offers a permanent solution.

Timber Restoration Method

When the rotten/decayed timber has been removed a stabiliser is applied. It penetrates within 30 minutes before dry flex is applied. Dry flex is based on a two component epoxy resin.

Dry Flex Epoxy Resin

This creates a very strong bond which when cured can be planed, sawed, or drilled. Then with a coat of paint, or even an opaque finish, the window frame is literally as good as new at a fraction of the cost of a replacement window.

Key Benefits:

Financial saving

The financial benefit of high quality joinery repairs using the Window Care System is enormous. At best the future Prior-to-Paint repair cost can be completely eliminated. At worst, the future repair cost can be substantially reduced.

Reduce Redecoration Cycles

Redecoration cycles can be extended from 3-5 years to 7-10 years. Preventative measures taken as part of the Prior-to-Paint repairs ensures the prevention of future incidence of wood decay.
The need to replace existing windows in the future can be eliminated.
